Home visits

Home visits are based on medical need and are only for patients who are truly housebound or too ill to attend surgery.

Please telephone for a home visit before 10.30am.

In almost all cases children can be safely brought to the surgery where they will be seen much quicker than waiting for a home visit. The receptionist will ask you for some details when you request a home visit and this is to assist the doctors in organising their rounds.

There is always a doctor on call. If you need a doctor urgently at any time please telephone the surgery on 0151 922 1600 or for medical advice telephone NHS111 on 111

When we are closed cover is provided by Integrated Care Sefton (ICS) run by Sefton Sefton CCG. ICS is based at Litherland Town Hall Health Centre, Hatton Hill Road, Litherland, Liverpool 21 and is by appointment only. Telephone: 0845 020 4422.

We ask that requests to ICS are made only in the case of genuine urgent medical need.
